The significance of endoscopic sinus examination after nasal and sinus surgrey

Objective To study the significance of endoscopic sinus examination after nasal and sinus surgery.Methods By using endoscopic sinus examination to check up 120 patients who had nasal and sinus operation 1～6 months ago.Results 30% patients were found to have the following symptoms,such as nasal adhesion,the rescurrence of nasal polyps or neoplasm,the closure to maxillary natvral orifice,the stenose of new orifice,and mocopurulent discharge in the maxillary sinuses.Conclusion Endoscopic sinus examination after nasal and sinus surgery will help us to explore the surgical effect and prognosis,to find some complications as early as possible and eliminate the pathological changes tissue.
