Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of panretinal photocoagulation on iris neovascularization. Methods Fifteen eyes with iris neovascularization were treated with argon laser panretinal photocoagulation. Results In 11 of 15 eyes, new vessels in the iris completely disappeared 3 months after photocoagulation. Conclusion Early diagnosis and timely therapy can effectively treat iris neovascularization.
