Abstract

Effect of the chemicals dosage of dilute sulfuric acids, ulfurous acid and sulfite pretreatment and enzymatic hy-drolysis of cotton stalk was investigated. The scanning electron microscopic(SEM)analysis of untreated and treated cotton stalk was performed for comparing these methods.Under conditions of liquid ratio 1∶4t,emperature 180,℃ for 20,min,cellulase 10 U/gc,ellobiase 3.6 U/g compared to substrate, enzymatic hydrolysis conversion rate was 42.63% when 5.52% sulfuric acid with mass fraction of 98% for pretreating cotton stalk, enzymatic hydrolysis conversion rate was 81.25% when 7% sulfurous acid for pretreating cotton stalk, and enzymatic hydrolysis conversion rate was 70.06% when 0.92% sulfuric acid with mass fraction of 98% and 8% sodium bisulfite for pretreating cotton stalk.
