Investigation on amphibians and reptiles resources of Erxianyan Subalpine Sphagnum Marshes Wetland of Hubei Province

Based on groundwork survey and literatures,the amphibians and reptiles of Erxianyan Subalpine Sphagnum Marshes Wetland were reported.35 species were found there.18 species of amphibians,belongs to 2 orders,7 families and 13 genera.17 species of reptiles belongs to 2 orders, 7 families and 13 genera.Giant Salamander was designated as grade Ⅱ key state-protected species.There were 16 species of amphibians and reptiles,belongs to provincial protected varieties of Hubei Province.Type of geographical distribution of them was studied.At the same time,conservation and management suggestions about amphibians and reptiles were proposed in the paper.
