A Positive Analysis of Industry Cluster Competitiveness

By using the GEM Model,a quantitative analysis tool based on Porter's Diamond Model,the article makes a comprehensive analysis on the competitiveness of Shenyang's automobile industry cluster from the aspects of supply,demand and structure,etc.It is concluded that Shenyang's automobile industry cluster has gained certain competitiveness in the whole nation,with its index of resources,local auxiliary trades,enterprise competition and internal market surpassing the national average.However,the scores of its facilities and external market are below the national average,which has turned a crippling factor in the further development of Shenyang's automobile industry.
