Problems on Teaching Reform in Universities

Aim To reveal the contradiction and problems which affect the quality of teaching in university reform.Method Through analyzing the situation of present teaching reform in universities to find out the problems which affect the quality of teaching in universities.Result The main difficulties and contradictions which universities face with are:contradiction between training and social needs; the shortening of teaching and learning time in school;the unbalanced reform in teaching structure; the displacement of quality education between higher education and basic education;the inversion between teaching and scientific research in universities;the double psychological conflict in both teaching and learning;the leg of the construction of teachers ranks;the lack of sustaindable development in teaching reform,etc.Conclusions The above eight factors are the main reasons which affect training quality in universities.Therefore,what should be done at present are to deepen the personnel reform and create the teaching system in universities.
