Abstract
Introduced a nowcast method of the thunderstorm forecast system at harbin airport. The method using the cross-correlation tracking algorithm, calculates motion vectors by analyzing the optimal spatial cross-correlation of radar echo in a continuous time.According the motion vectors,it can extrapolate future 0-1h radar echo states and release the severe convective storm nowcast. It shows that, the extrapolated radar echoes were closed to the actual echoes in many cases,it is helpful to improve severe convective storm nowcast efficiency, ensure flight safety and increase flight normal rate.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
