On the Impact of Urbanization on Folk Sports Development in Guangzhou——Taking Dashi Town,Panyu District as an Example

Through literature,questionnaire,interviews and fieldwork methods,development of folk sports in Dashi Town,Panyu District of Guangzhou in the process of urbanization are carefully studied.It puts forward that urbanization has an important role in driving the development of Chinese folk sports,and prosperity of folk sports culture can also promote the process of urbanization.Leadership of government is key to development of folk sports in urbanization.Not only the development of urbanization objectively promotes rural social and economic development and changes of peasants' lifestyle,but also requires the government administration adapting to urbanization.As an important part of public sports,folk sports have lost its survival of social and cultural background due to the impact of social changes.So we need the subjective efforts in the scientific, democratic and rational organizing and management,and follow the spirit of the times traditional way of innovation,leading to sustainable and healthy development.
