Abstract
Through an analysis of the benthic community structures in the intertidal zones at SPC beach in Hangzhou Bay during the period 1993-2002,the range and degree are obtained of the impacts of SPC treated industrial wastewater on the ecological envionment in the inter- tidal zones. From 2002 up to the present, the benthic community structures in the intertidal zones exhibit the features of broad adaptation and anti-pollution,their indexes of species di- versity being between 2.00 and 3.50.
