Abstract

QingZhen is the key point of Zhang Xuecheng’s literature theory. The essential meaning of Qing is that the organization and the style is pure and consistent; the coherence is clear and not disorderly; the language is concise. Zhang’s Qing theory is the result of his inheriting predecessor’s theory and his unique understanding of literature as a historian.
