Development Progress of Pipeline Steel with Extra-high Strength

Abstract
Development trend of pipeline steel and the early development status of extra-high strength pipeline steel at home and abroad were introduced,as well as mechanical performance and welding process of 2 X100/X120 test pipeline section-western loop and Godin Lake loop.R D process of X100 large strain pipeline steel and extra-high strength pipeline steel including X100 SSAW pipe was emphasized.Taking Tibesti Zi Weier test section for example,chemical composition,mechanical performance and each performance of pipeline circumferential weld were analyzed.The analysis indicated that development of X100 pipeline steel from trail-production several steel pipes to test section up to 5 km,and welding process of circumferential weld has been solved,as well as,development of X100 grade extra-high strength pipeline steel maybe achieve significant breakthrough.Finally,suggestion to development of China extra-high strength pipeline steel was proposed.
