Abstract
Objective To investigate the pathogenesis and treatment of abdominal pain in irritable bowel syndrome. Methods 103 cases of patients with abdominal pain in irritable bowel syndrome treated in our hospital from May 2011 to May 2012 were selected as study objects, all patients were given comprehensive symptomatic treatment, then abdominal pain time, abdominal pain times, frequency and severity were observed and analyzed. Results After treatment, the abdominal pain time of patients with irritable bowel syndrome had been shortened, number of times decreased, frequency declined, and severity alleviated significantly. Conclusion The causes of abdominal pain in irritable bowel syndrome are varied. A full range inspection of nervous system and gastrointestinal system should be implemented for identifying the cause of disease and treating focusing symptom,in order to improve clinical symptom effectively.
