Abstract
This paper presents a scheme applying data warehouse technic into power systems. Based on the characteristics of power systems, a procedure of building a data warehouse through an example of power automation systems is introduced. In this procedure, based on the dimension model ,building of a data warehouse using the star model and accessing of data warehouse's data rapidly through OLAP server are also discussed.
