Abstract

A high-voltage AC motor soft starter based on SCR in series is provided.The motor's operating state on the a,b, c/d,q reference frame during soft starting is analysed,and the motor math model of every operating state is deduced.The simulation and experiment demonstrate that the model has adequate accuracy for AC motor soft start.
