Abstract

The heat transfer coefficient and pressure drop formulae of several common heat exchangers are summarized,for example,spiral heat exchanger,umbrella heat exchanger and curved pipe heat exchanger.The heat transfer coefficient and pressure drop of a novel heat transfer plate were computed,and some laws of design parameters that influence flow and heat transfer are found,all of these are of great significance in the design and optimization of the novel heat exchanger.
