Confrontation or Dialogue: Analysis of the Argument about Ontology between Practical Aesthetics and Life Aesthetics

The debate between practical aesthetics and life aesthetics principally concentrates on the sphere of ontology. Practical aesthetics admittedly has it's defects, but it still has the unique value and shouldn't be negated totally. Life aesthetics want to make a comprehensive innovation about the aesthetical theory after it's debate against the shortcomings of practical aesthetics. However ,it just can be looked as a kind of retreat because of the transform of fulcrum of the theory is from practices to life ,which is a more covering and undetermined category than the former. Therefore, the argument between practical aesthetics and life aesthetics ought to change from confrontation into dialogue.
