The Environment Image of Collection House Gardens in Ancient China: A Case Study on Ganxi House

Abstract

Based on the history of ancient Chinese library,the environment image of Ganxi Collection House of Nanjing was analyzed and assessed from four aspects,including the sequent space,the form of layout landscape,the appraise of vision and the literature.The general layout pattern,arrangement,gardening elements and the integral surrounding feeling were elaborated.The aesthetic feature of collection house of ancient private garden was put forward.It aims to arose the society attention to the historical value of collection house.
