Sensitization of Surfactant in Ion Selective Electrode

In this work,the coated wire Ag-Ag_(2)S electrode was used as indicative electrode,a standard calomel electrode or Sb electrode as reference electrode to investigate the effect of a series of surfactant on the sensitivity of ion selective electrode.It was found that the non-ionic surfactants have no effect on the electrode property,but the anionic and cation ionic surfactant can greatly improve the sensitivity of electrode.
