Abstract
According to the rules of Tang Dynasty,the monks were forbidden to take part in the imperial examinations.But we can find many poems related to the monks and the imperial examinations while reading the Quan Tang Shi,for the imperial examination system had affected every corner of society in Tang Dynasty.This article is to analyze the relationship between the monks and the imperial examinations in Tang Dynasty by studying the poems related.
