Abstract
The chromosome number of Playtcodon grandiflourus were numbered and its karyotype was analysed.The results showed that its chromosome number was 2n=18,and the karyogram formula was K(2n)=2X=6 m(2SAT)+12 sm.The karyogram was belonged to the type of 2A,and it was asymmetric and relatively primitive.
