On the Reform of Art College English Teaching

In modern society,improving art talents' English proficiency and level has been a common concern of English teachers and reformers in art colleges.Many factors are involved in raising English level,including intelligence,emotion,motivation and teaching environment.The present paper aims at analyzing the obstacles of English teaching.Then,the teaching and learning process is divided into pre-class preparation,classroom teaching and after-class tutoring.On the bases of advanced linguistic and mental theories,the paper explores several ways to reform teaching model for better teaching quality.
