Abstract
The dam of Jilintai Hydropower Station I is designed with the specifications for the earthquake intensity of 9 and the severe cold climate.Based on the influencing factors of the engineering practice and the compressive strength, impermeability and frost-resistance of the concrete, the key elements of both the internal and external qualities of the face concrete are summarized herein. On the basis of this, the total quality control for each link of the whole construction process is made and then the design specification of the face concrete quality is ensured at last.
