Abstract

Close to the eastern coast and the Yangtze River Delta economically developed areas,Tianchang City is one of the most developed counties(cities of same level) in Anhui Province.Rapid industrialized development has ever-increasing requirement for water resources.This paper studied the distribution of groundwater in the city,showed the range of quality groundwater resources,argued that the trend of utilization of water resources in the future of the city as the urban area dominantly using surface water and the broad rural area still groundwater by considering the current situation of development and utilization of groundwater resources and geological environment issues likely to occur,and put forward measures for possible expansion of the use of groundwater in the future.
