Abstract
According to the actual state of the horizontal continuous casting tundish in hengguan,the water model system was established by similarity ratio of 1 ∶ 1.5 and the molten steel flow fild in the horizontal continuous casting tundish was studied.Thereby,the main difference of the molten steel flow field between the horizontal continuous casting tundish and circular continuous casting tundish was obtained,moreover the orientation to optimize molten steel flowing in the horizontal continuous casting tundish was pointed out.
