Abstract

Objective To investigate the diagnose, therapy and effect of endovascular treatment for intracranial ruptured aneurysm. Methods 33 subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) patients were examined with digital subtraction angiography (DSA) and 29 patients were found with aneurysm, then endovascular treatment was applied on them. Results Radiography showed 21 cases(72.4%) achieved 100% occlusion, 5(17.2%) get 90%~100% and 2(6.9%), 80%~90%. 1 case was failed because the micro-catheter could not enter the aneurysm. Conclusion It is necessary for spontaneity SAH patients to be examined by DSA to diagnose intracranial aneurysm. Endovascular treatment is a good method for intracranial aneurysm with the virtues of wide indications, small trauma, reliability and safety, especially for the aneurysms difficult to clamp or in dangerous zone.
