Abstract
As the increase of gasoline demand is higher than the diesel demand in China and structure of product oil consumptions changes in the past several years, the demand of diesel/gasoline ratio is gradually decreased. The good results of reducing the diesel to gasoline ratio in a refinery have been achieved through optimization of production schemes. The diesel to gasoline ratio is gradually lowered through increase in production of FCC and CCR feedstocks as well as their operating capacities and heavy reformate is recycled to FCCU,etc. The diesel to gasoline ratio was 1.23∶ 1 in 2012,a 20% decrease as compared with the design, which is equivalent to an increase of 359,100 tons of gasoline per year and a economic benefit of 247.81 million Yuan RMB a year.
