Abstract

Objective To study the correlateion between spot urine protein-creatinine ratio and 24-hour urine protein excretion. Method Analysis the correlateon between spot urine protein-creatinine ratio and 24-hour urine protein excretion of the 76 patients was analyzed. The patients were devided into different gronps in accordance with the concentration of the serum albumin, GFR, and that whether the patient was DN, then analysis the correlation among these groups was made. Result There was correlation between the 24-hour urine protein measured and the spot urine protein-creatinine ratio(r=0.667, P0.05). Conclusion Spot urine protein-creatinine ratio can replace the measurement of protein excretion in 24-hour urine.
