Abstract

Objective:To explore whether soluble fms-like tyrosine kinase-1(sFlt-1) can be used as a serum marker to predict preeclampsia. Methods:Electrochemiluminescence was used to detect the changes of sFlt-1 levels during different periods of pregnancy in cases with preeclampsia and the cases in control group. Results:In normal control group, the level of sFlt-1 decreased slightly and then increased with gestational weeks;the expression level of serum sFlt-1 in preeclampsia group was significantly higher than that in normal control group(P0.05).Conclusion:The decrease of serum sFlt-1 can be used as an effective clinical index for the patients with preeclampsia.
