Abstract

Objective:To evaluate CT-guided percutaneous lung biopsy for the diagnosis of solitary pulmonary mass value and safety. Methods:Retrospective analyzed 68 cases of patients with solitary pulmonary masses underwent CT-guided percutaneous lung biopsy in clinical in our hospital from January 2010 to March 2011,and the pathological and surgical data were all analyzed.Results:68 patients were successful punctured, biopsy tissue were treated by cytologic examination, and malignant lesions in 51 cases, including adenocarcinoma 27 cases;squamous cell carcinoma 10 cases;undifferentiated carcinoma 9 cases;alveolar cell carcinoma in 5 cases.34 patients underwent surgical removal of lesions, biopsy specimens of gross specimen and pathological diagnosis was 100%.There were 13 cases benign lesions, including tuberculoma in 7 cases;lung adenoma in 4 cases;inflammatory pseudotumor in 2 cases.Puncture did not appear in pneumothorax, large coughed up blood and other related complications.Conclusion:CT-guided percutaneous lung biopsy for the diagnosis of solitary pulmonary mass is a good safety, high accuracy of minimally invasive diagnostic method,it to be worth generalization at clinical.
