Abstract
Some modification to the three coordinate measuring machinec(CMM),was accomplished with changing the measuring system and modifying the corresponding mechanical parts.A better error compensation model was constructed which applied software to measure the error.As a result,it increases the volumetric accuracy by 2 or 3 times.The method is convenient and reliable to improve the accuracy of the CMM through the error compensation.
