Abstract
Different collision detections(CD) in virtual scene are surveyed in this paper. The principle and effectiveness of axis-aligned bounding boxes(AABB) method, oriented bounding box(OBB)method, discrete orientation polytopes(K-DOP) method are discussed in detail.Compared with existing algorithms used for CD,effectiveness of K-DOP is high. The key of the algorithm is to select suitable slabs to construct the discrete orientation polytopes.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
