Abstract

The late Tang' s turbulence make poets going back and forth again on the road of the official career, recluse and carp diem, and hard to choose. The self - contradict mindset of Wu Rong reflects the widespread mental state characteristic of scholars in the late Tang Dynasty. First, Wu Rong has violent official as a class mindset. Second, the poet has the wishes to live as recluse. Third, under the influence of the social custom that the verse of the poets indulgence reflected the viewpoint of enjoyment on time.
