With his unique and creative literary creation, Su Tong has injected vigor into Chinese literature of the new period at its various phases, which has also replenished his literary writing with the significance of modern literary history. Against the background of interpreting the history of modern and contemporary Chinese literature, this paper relates the course of Su Tong's literary creation and analyzes his works in terms of aesthetics and themes.
