Advance of Studies on Insecticide Resistance of Diamondback Moth (Plutella xylostella L.) to Abamectin

Plutella xylostella(Linnaeus) is one of the most important pests on cruciferous vegetables.Abamectin is the key insecticide which has been widely used to control this pest.Current research and development of diamondback moth resistance selection,resistance monitoring,cross-resistance,resistance genetics and resistance mechanism to abamectin were reviewed in this article.
