Abstract
With the rapid of the national economy, the gap in the regional economy in Guangdong is also increasing; what is more, the widening tendency has not changed so far. From the perspective of investment, this paper uses relevant modules of economic growth and gives a deep analysis of the causes leading to the gap. Research results show that the investment elements are conducive to the economic imbalance of regional economy between different areas. This paper analyzes the causes of this phenomenon in terms of the regional differences like natural conditions, preferential policies, foreign investment and regional financial development, and the radiation functions of development poles, and suggests the following measures and policies to be taken: certain privileges in investment programs, active guidance in industry transference, helping forward the of local private economy, and optimizing the regional financial system and financial ecology.
