Abstract

In 2008,severe snowfall and freezing took place in the southern provinces of Chian,causing great economic loss.The study took Sichuan as the case for investigation of the loss in terms of types of loss and the characteristics of the loss.Counterpart measuers from the poinview of policy and administration for combating the disaster were suggested.The methods and the results obtained will be of significance to the whole country in the investigation of disaster.
