Abstract

The IP address resource was comparatively gone shor t of as the fast de velopment and wide usage of computer network, and IP address embezzlement had be en a great problem which influenced the network running. In this paper, aimed at the security of the Internet, four methods of preventing IP address embezzlemen t were put forward based on TCP/IP theory after several common used methods of I P address embezzlement in local area network were analyzed. Then the realization process and effect of the four methods was introduced in detail.
