Abstract
Objective To report the experience of replantation of amputated thumb fingertip Methods All 105 cases amputated thumb fingertips were replantated with improved reverse replantation method and three ways of vascular reconstruction Results 105 cases received replantation, 99 fingertips survived with satisfactory appearance and 2-PD of 3~6 mm, the survival rate 94.2%. Conclusions Familiarity with vascular distribution rule and replantation feature of thumb fingertip can shorten operational time and raise survival rate
