Abstract
Removal of cobalt from zinc sulfate solution in zinc hydrometallurgy was researched using a new cobalt removal reagent AnBm.The factors of affecting electrodeposit of cobalt were examined. The experimental results showed that removing of cobalt could reach to 97% and the mass concentration of cobalt in solution could decrease under 0.7 mg/L at the conditions of oxidizer Fe3+ of 42 mg/L and cobalt removal reagent of 2.4 g/L,reaction time of 50 to 60 minutes, reaction temperature of 70 to 80 ℃ and pH of 4.1 to 5.
