Principle and Application of IPSec-based VPN Technology

Abstract

With the development of Internet and information technology,VPN(Virtual Private Network) technology draws more and more attention of industry.As a security Protocol in network layer,IPSec combines flexibly encryption,authentication,key management and access control to provide a standard for Internet security network environment.This article elaborates the principle of VPN based on the IPSec and the IPSec standards,and introduces several kinds of typical application plan of the VPN technology and their advantages.And it makes comparison with other popular VPN technologies at present,and puts forward views on the VPN technology promotion,the application and the development.
