Research on the significance and strategy of seismic performance to architectural design

This paper analyzes the damage mechanism of earthquake to buildings and expounds several issues,to which attention should be paid in architecture design stage,from the perspectives of architectural graphic design,elevation and modeling design,vertical layout design,and set up of seismic joint,in order to improve buildings' seismic performance.
