Abstract

In view of the problems occurred in wet dihydrate process with two compartment reactor for the phosphoric acid production,it studies the reaction time, reaction temperature, timing and method of adding sulfuric acid, agitation intensity in the two step approach, and the influence on the phosphate decomposition rate and the phosphoric acid concentration produced from the wet process on the basis of experiment results from the chemical reaction of decomposing phosphate rock with phosphoric acid. After the experiment with Jinhe phosphate rock, the obtained process conditions are:reaction temperature is about 80 ℃,the period of phosphate rock decomposed with phosphoric acid is 2 hours, the total reaction time is 5 hours, ratio of liquid phase to solid phase is 4∶1,liquid SO 3 concentration is 35 mg/mL,agitation intensity is reduced with the time, and then phosphoric acid [ω(P 2O 5)=28%] can be obtained and the phosphate rock decomposition rate is 98%.
