Abstract
By matching analysis of the engine MAP and the load curves of an automobile running on the level road surface by constant speeds in different shifts,a method of optimizing calibration based on the rail pressure and timing was suggested. On condition that the emission standards and engine design requirements were met, smooth and plump full load torque and the best possible fuel economy were realized. Finally by the comparative test vehicle fuel consumption reduced by nearly 8 percent,to optimize the economy of the original engine meanwhile provide useful references for other model engines.
