Some Thinking on Evolution of Development Theory and Official Development Aid Performance since World War Two

Abstract
Since World War Two,development theories have experienced evolution from economic development theory,to social development theory to people-oriented development,to the currently sustainable development theory.And official development aid policies have been influenced by the evolution in the field of development theory in their exploring of ways to change poor people's live.This paper tries to explore different development theory after the World War Two,and discusses how official development aids policies were made under influence of development theory at the time;and how did people adjust development theories based on official development aid performance,and finally,how both development theory and official development aid is on the way to mature in their relationship of directing,performing,adjusting and reflecting.In this paper,we use World Band as a case in analyze official development aid agencies.
