Abstract
OBJECTIVE To study the extraction process of ferulic acid from Ligusticum Chuanxiong Hort.METHODS Experiments were conducted by using L9(34) orthogonal design with the yield of ferulic acid as the index through content determined by HPLC,to investigate the influences of pH,the concentration of ethanol, amount of ethanol and temperature on the extraction ratio of the ferulic acid. RESULTS The influential degrees were the temperature amount of ethanol pH the concentration of ethanol.CONCLUSION The optimum extraction process was circumfluence extraction with 10 times amount of 90% ethanol,pH 10 for 1.5 h.
