Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical manifestation and risk factors of rebleeding following subarachnoid hemorrhage and its preventive measures. Methods The clinical manifestations and the risk factors of 28 patients with rebleeding and 127 SAH patients without rebleeding of two departments during 7 years were analyzed. Results The rebleeding rate of SAH was 18.06% and the more cases were within two weeks at onset and in winter. The average age of the rebleeding group was 9.01 years younger than the control group and the risk rate for male was 2.1 times higher than that of women. The mortality in the rebleeding group was 71.43%,which was higher than that of SAH group(21.26%),P0.01.Hypertension,exciting,smoking,alcohol abuse and infection were the induced factors of rebleeding. Conclusion These risk factors of rebleeding should be prevented during treatment and the following days.
