Abstract

Since the beginning of the 20th century,the citizenship education in Australian Schools has undergone tortuous development course.Its developmental course mainly includes three dimensions as follows: social studies come to be perfect,old civics gradually transforms into new civics,citizenship gradually substitutes subjects.To some extent,the development of the citizenship education in Australia is a unique history of the development of Australian society.
