Abstract
The liquidphase esterification to synthesize dinbutyl maleate is typically acidcatalyzed reaction In this work the γAl2O3 and SiO2/Al2O3 catalysts were prepared for the reaction of liquidphase esterification of maleic acid to synthesize dinbutyl maleate The experimental results indicated that the catalyst SiO2/Al2O3 which was made by coprecipitation (Si/Al=1/1, the precipitation pH=60) has the highest efficiency At the temperature of 120℃, mass of catalyst 10g (based on 01 mole maleic acid) and n(maleic acid):n(nbutanol)=1:4, the conversion of maleic acid reached at 7331% after 3 hours reaction
