Analysis of Feeding Value of several Forage Shrubs in Qilian Mountains

Abstract

The biomass of forage shrubs in Qilian Mountains was studied The results showed that the total biomass of it is as 5～11 times as meadow and feeding biomass is more than 2 times of meadow Meanwhile, feeding value of different shrub types have been studied by the chemical contents of leaves The orders of feeding value as following: Cotoneaster acutifolius、Spiraea alpina、Berberis diaphana、Hippophae rhamnoides subsp sinensis、Potentilla glabra、Caragana tangutica、Pontentilla fruicosa Therefore, developing the shrub land is an important measurement to improve the meadow in Qilian Mountains
