Discussion on the Roadbed Settlement Control Technique of Expressway in Collapsible Loess Area

Abstract

This paper analyzes the causes of the roadbed settlement of the expressway in collapsible loess area,introduces three kinds of methods for the treatment of collapsible loess foundation,and probes into how to control the roadbed settlement from five aspects of the treatment of collapsible loess foundation,drainage,side slope protection,roadbed settlement monitoring,and roadbed maintenance,which provide some theoretical bases for future expressway construction.
